ABOUT MARGARET

I am a photographic artist specializing in portraits of companion animals.

For purposes of brevity I am going to use the term pets. Webster uses the definition pets as favorite and greatest. It is more than apt.

I have had animal companions all my life, cats, dogs and one horse, all different, all well loved. They inspected me as closely as I them, loads of laughs, much comfort. Creating portraits exploring these relationships through photography is my passion.

At the time I started my business as a portrait photographer I was living in the San Francisco Bay Area. First I joined the Professional Photographers of America, then all the local organizations in the area.

I learned from some of the finest photographers in the nation during this time.

Now I live and work in Fort Collins Co. I took time off when I first moved here to enjoy Colorado and to finish the championships on my four Australian Terriers. I continue as a member of PPA and now have joined the Professional Photographers of Colorado.
